CopyAware is independent, read-only analytics for people who copy traders on eToro. eToro makes it easy to copy a Popular Investor. It doesn’t tell you what copying five of them adds up to.
CopyAware measures how the traders you copy move together, how much of what they hold overlaps, and how concentrated your basket really is. It turns that into one number you can check, with a plain reading of what it means.
Copy trading looks like diversification. Follow five Popular Investors and you feel spread out. But if they all ride the same momentum, you’ve made one bet in five costumes.
eToro shows each trader’s gain, risk score and copiers, one profile at a time. It never shows how those traders move together, or how much your copied portfolio overlaps. Nothing answers the question that matters: am I actually diversified?
The traders you copy move mostly on their own. A bad week for one is rarely a bad week for all.
Some of the traders' returns move together. Check which pairs drive it.
Much of the basket is one bet. More names on the list won't spread the risk.
Everything comes from eToro’s public API, the same numbers eToro reports. The math is plain statistics, done the same way every time, on numbers eToro publishes. The CopyAware Score is our own weighting of those inputs; help explains how it’s built.
On Pro, AI puts the result into plain words. It explains the numbers; it never produces them, and it never recommends a trade.
These are design decisions, not settings you can switch on. CopyAware has no trading code and no way to link your eToro account.
Copy trading carries risk, and past performance doesn’t predict future returns. CopyAware is informational only and is not financial advice.
CopyAware is built by a solo, bootstrapped founder for copiers who want to know what they actually hold. Bootstrapped means no outside investors to answer to; Pro subscriptions keep it running.
